Who we are:
AVANZANDO was started in Newark, CA, in 2008, by a coalition of committed individuals interested in advancing our Latino youth and building a better community. We are committed to growing in partnership with our strong and broad network of dedicated partners and friends who support our mission. In 2010, AVANZANDO became a non-profit organization 501(c)(3).
The mission of AVANZANDO is to promote the advancement and empowerment of Latino youth, their families and our community, through education, leadership, and networking opportunities.
