Lusero Arias, Board Member

Lusero Arias is the Executive Director/CEO of La Casa de las Madres, a domestic violence program in San Francisco. Before her current position, Lusero held various leadership roles in human resources and the financial services industry.

Lusero is proud to be a first-generation college graduate. She earned a law degree (J.D.) with dual specializations in Family Law and Public Interest Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of San Francisco. While at law school, she was admitted to an Honors Lawyering Program and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Lusero was also awarded the Emerging Leader Award in 2015 from Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders Program under their economic mobility and community development programs.

Lusero is passionate about empowering and advocating for survivors of abuse and intimate partner violence. She is also passionate about helping Latina/o youth gain access to every opportunity for academic advancement.
