Lusero Arias, Board Member

Lusero Arias is the Executive Director/CEO of La Casa de las Madres, a San Francisco-based organization dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic violence and supporting survivors, youth, and families through trauma-informed, equity-centered services.

A proud first-generation college graduate, Lusero earned a law degree (J.D.) with dual specializations in Family Law and Public Interest Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of San Francisco. During law school, she worked with immigrant families seeking humanitarian relief, was admitted to the Honors Lawyering Program, and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She was also recognized as a Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Emerging Leader and, in 2025, was named one of the San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Most Influential Leaders Under 40. Lusero is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health from Brown University, further strengthening her focus on population health, equity, and prevention.

Lusero is deeply committed to advancing equity, expanding access to opportunity, and empowering underserved communities, with a particular focus on youth development, prevention, and systems-level change.
